"MickeyMonkeys"- "I am thankful for today"

This is my second favorite place in town, 5 minutes by walk from the Kazan Cathedral.

Both cafés are in front of each other, owned by the same company, "coffeeroom", which owns a total of four places in town.

The menu is pretty similar, just a little different, as is the atmosphere.

There is this charmful interior loft style that mixes wood and bricks. "Mickey Monkey" can be very loud and crowded on weekends (music, big family), whereas "I am thankful for today" being smaller, never gets too crazy.
"Mickey Monkeys" offers a larger menu, and only there can you find their incredible sugary shakes, but for example, I am crazy about the taste of Dranik with salmon, poached egg and hollandaise sauce that is found only in "I am thankful for today".
Moreover, during the week, they offer the lunch with three courses until 16:00, which is delicious and actually cheap. The service is also so fast, and you wait so little, which is really rare and incredible !
The essence of the kitchen is the same, so choosing between one or the other is more about your mood or daily desire.

Since they are in front of each others, you always change your mind at the last minute. Anywhere, you must try both of them !
